O’Toole calls on Canadians to choose brighter, better, more united future on Monday

Markham, ON – Today, the Hon. Erin O’Toole, Leader of Canada’s Conservatives, called on Canadians to choose a brighter, better, more united future when they go to the polls on Monday.

“Now is the time for Canadians to make a choice,” O’Toole said. “We can choose to settle for second-best – for a party that hardly tries and barely delivers. Or we can choose to believe in a brighter, better, more united future.”

On day one, a Conservative government will implement Canada’s Recovery Plan to get the country back on track and leave no Canadian behind. The plan will secure jobs, bring in tough new anti-corruption laws, deliver a mental health action plan, secure Canadian-made medical supplies, and balance the budget over the next decade.

“We must choose to focus on making the decisions that are right, not the ones that are easy, and we must choose to focus on the things that will make Canada truly great,” said O’Toole. “Standing up for what we believe is right. Standing up to protect the Canada we know and love. Standing up to those who would divide our country for their own gain.”

O’Toole closed by inviting Canadians to vote for a better Canada and for a brighter future by voting Conservative on Monday.
